Mr. Truman Thomas Graves passed away Thursday, March 13, 2003 in Tyler at the age of 86.
He was born March 7, 1917 in Clearwater, Texas to the late W.H. "Luther" and Pearl Dickens Graves.
He married the former Marjorie Spangler on February 3, 1940 and she preceded him on September 20, 1997.
He had been a switchman - conductor with the Santa Fe Railroad for 38 years before retiring.
He was a member of the National Guard, past Master Mason of the Winnsboro Lodge, member of the Clearwater Baptist Church where he served as deacon and taught sunday school for many years.
Survivors include, sons, T.C. Graves of Scroggins, Burl Graves of Baton Rouge, LA.; brother, Dalton Graves of Mt. Vernon; sister, Junie Hobbs of Amarillo; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral services are set for 2:00 P.M. Sunday March 16, 2003, at Beaty Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Dalton Graves officiating.
Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery.
