James "Jack" was born to James Harvey Sr., and Catherine Lee Young Scott. He married Hazel "Regina" Paine on October 17, 1942 in Ironton, Lawrence County, Ohio. Born to this union: two sons. Jack served in the US Navy during WWII and was a Pearl Harbor Survivor. Jack was a member of Creston United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge 74 F&AM where he was education officer and May Chapter Order of Eastern Star 217, American Legion Post 497 and Seville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post. Jack retired from General Motors with 30 years of service.
