Thomas J. Fought, aged 71, died at his home on Grieves Run on Thursday after an illness of several days. Mr. Fought was never married and is survived by three brothers, Abram and Curtis Fought of Newark; and Willie Fought of Grieves Run; and one sister, Mrs. Maggie Wilson, who lived with him. The funeral was held from the Newark Baptist Church, Saturday afternoon, with the Rev. A.F. Monroe officiating.
Interment was made in the Fought Cemetery.
