Evelyn G. Doyle, 85, of New Florence, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2008. at Memorial Medical Center. She was born Dec. 2, 1923 in Murrysville, a daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Carver Shannon.

Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Ann Doyle-Gracik and husband Vincent Gracik, Westmont; sister Gail Wass Rubach, California; granddaughter Candice Krill-Berry and husband Alan, along with their children, James Krill and Jack and Jonah Berry, and a grandson, Thomas J. Doyle, all of Texas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Doyle; a son, James Dennis Doyle; brothers Raymond, Earl and William Shannon; and sisters Ruth Vogel and Mildred James.

Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, New Florence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward, with Father Robert M. Washko officiating.

Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery.
