Casper Cecil Coiner, 86, of Route 1, died yesterday in Liberty House of Waynesboro.
Born in Augusta County, Jan. 4, 1889, he was a son of the late Phillip M. and Effie Lincoln Coiner.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Hattie Barger Coiner on Feb. 14, 1974.
Surviving is one niece, Mrs. Mary Amelia Hattaway of Houma, La.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Bethany Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Kenneth G. Carlson, with entombment in the Augusta Memorial Park mausoleum.
Active pallbearers will be William G. Miller, David "Dick" C. Miller, Terry C. Kirby, Wilbert Reynolds, Harry S. Garber, William Brower, I.C. Hoy, E.C. Garst, George A. Coyner II and Wayne Weaver.
The family requests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the endowment fund of the Bethany Lutheran School.
The body will remain at the Etter Funeral Home.
