Birth: 1841
Charlotte County
Virginia, USA
Death: Dec. 24, 1895
Clarksville
Red River County
Texas, USA

PARENTS: Isaac Porter Duffer, b. 1799/1800, Cumberland County, Virginia; d. 8 Dec 1856, Charlotte County, VA and Michiel Melilia Scott, b. 1805, Campbell County, VA, d. Virginia.

From a letter of her son Charles H. Price:
"My father lived in Tennessee somewhere around Jackson (Madison County). He also lived around Charolettesville, VA. That is where mother lived before her and father werer married. Porter Duffie never did live in Texas that I know of. Mother is buried in Shamrock graveyard between where your Uncle Joe lives in Bagwell, Texas. I do not know if there is a headstone on her grave or not. I have a baby buried right by her. If I were there I could go right to her grave but I do not think there is anybody else that can find her."

Susan Price's son, Charles H. Price spells his mother's maiden name as DUFFIE, bur records show that is DUFFER.
