Robert E. Lee Ferrell, age 85, of Route 1, Pelahatchie died in the Rankin General Hospital in Brandon Friday, April 25.
Services were held from Baldwin Funeral Home chapel on Hwy. 80 East, Jackson at 10 o’clock Saturday with Rev. J. L. Reeves, Baptist minister from Pearl, officiating.
Ferrell, a native of Holmes County, was a son of Napoleon Ferrell and Mollie Moore Ferrell.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Wayne Mallady of Bossier City, La., Mrs. Melvin Bradshaw of Itta Bena, Mrs. Frank Collier of Pearl, Mrs. A. J. Sallis of Jackson, Mrs. Ernie Mlabinich of Biloxi, and Mrs. Jean Keith of Strasburg, Penn.; two sons, Robert E. Ferrell, Jr. of Pelahatchie and W. C. Ferrell of Morton; twenty-four grandchildren, and forty-eight great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were his grandsons, James Collier, Jerry Bradshaw, Robert E. Ferrell, Jr., Billy Collier Roy Sallis and Larry Foster.
