A young man named Geo. Beatty, a son of the late Wm. Beatty, of White tp., was severely kicked by one of his own horses on Monday evening last. The team of young Beatty started off suddenly from the Furniture Rooms of Helrigel, Hook & Co., on Water street, and in his effort to check the team one of the horses kicked him in the abdomen. He afterward caught and secured his team, but became very ill, and was taken to Dr. St. Clair's office, and afterward taken to his home by Row Bryan. His injuries are internal and may prove to be of a serious nature.

Death of George Beatty.
We noticed last week that a young man named George Beatty, son of Thos. Beatty, residing about one mile north east of Indiana had been kicked by one of his horses, whilst in town. The young man was tenderly cared for, but his injuries were so severe that he died on Saturday. His remains were interred in Oakland Cemetery on Sabbath last, followed by a large concourse of sympathizing friends.
