The Parkersburg News, Parkersburg, WV 01 Jan 1965 Pg 15: Bertha P Lockhart Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Shaver and Co. funeral home for Mrs. Bertha P. Lockhart, 86, 1804 St. Marys Av., who died early yesterday in the St. Joseph's Hospital following an extended illness.She was born Sept. 7, 1878, the daughter of the late Rev. T. J. and Susan Arnold Monroe, and was a member of the Cedar Grove Methodist Church.Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. E. G. Morehead, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Ruby Allman, Cedar Grove; a son, Harry T. Lockhart, Palestine; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.Her husband, M. B. Lockhart, preceded her in death in 1955. An infant daughter and two sisters, also preceded her in death. The Rev. Charles Williamson will officiate with burial in the Mt. Olivet cemetery.
