Mack Abram is my gg-grandfather. Husband of "Nora", son of George Washington Loughmiller.

CANTON HERALD, September 30, 1932

"M.A. Loughmiller died at the home of his son, Frank Loughmiller, in Hayden community Friday, Sept. 23, 1932, at 7:20 p.m. He was born Aug. 31, 1852 in McMinn county, Tenn. He came to Texas when a small boy. On Dec. 20, 1876, he was married to Miss Safronia Smith in Cherokee county, Texas. ‘Uncle Mack,' as he was familiarly called, was a great old man. All who knew him loved and admired his good habits and traits. He was a great favorite with the young people in his community. It is sad to part from him but these things come to us all. To these dear children, console yourself of having him all these years. You have had him so much longer than the average do. (For more on this long article, see the original on microfilm.)
