McFerren had entered her 80th year. She was a member of the United Brethren church.
Her husband died some years ago. The following children survive: James McFerren, with whom she made home up until a year ago, when she went to the home of her daughter,
Mrs. James Knepper, at whose residence she died. Other children surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Theron Cole; of this place, one brother, David Monn, of Fox Hill. Funeral Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Services in the Mt. Zion church, conducted by
Rev.J. W. Yohe and Rev. E. H. Hummelbaugh. Interment in Mt. Zion cemetery.
