Gouverneur, April 3 - The funeral of Mrs. Clarice Gozier Kinney, wife of Martin Kinney of Spragueville, who died at her home this afternoon at 2pm, the Rev. M. F. Gallivan, pastor of the St. James Catholic church of this village officiating. Burial will be made at Spragueville.
Mrs. Kinney was found dead in a chair on Monday morning, having, it is believed, fallen there during the night previous when she was attending her husband who is a paralytic. His cries attracted the passersby on Monday and she was found in the condition named.
She was born March 2, 1842, in the town of Rossier, the daughter of the late Antoine and Elizabeth Obertine Gozier, who were immigrants from France.
She is survived by her husband and by two brothers, Antoine Gozier of Point Peninsular and Charles Gozier of Rossier, also by three sisters, Mrs. Louise Rhodes, Fulton; Mrs. N. Prouty and Mrs. Charles Baum, both of Syracuse.
