Angela Marie Girdner was born on February 28, 1967 in Portland, Oregon to Randall & Reta (Sullivan).

Her remains were found in April of 1985 in Tualatin, Oregon, later identified in October of 2009.

She was baptized at Sacred Heart Church in Portland and received the sacraments of Eucharist, confession and confirmation at All Saints Catholic Church in Portland. Angela attended and graduated from All Saints Catholic Grade School and attended two years at St. Mary's of the Valley High School in Beaverton, working at the Maryville Nursing Home on the St. Mary's campus. At age 15 she received her G.E.D. and was enrolled and ready to attend Mount Hood Community College.

In 1983 at the age of 15 she started working and cooperating with the Portland Police to end the trafficking of human beings. As a teenager she enjoyed the idea of being a model and learned quickly the glamour tricks of makeup and hairstyles, she shared with her friends her newfound knowledge.

She lived in Portland all of her life mainly in the Laurelhurst area. She enjoyed cooking and cake decorating, art, music, tumbling, ballet and baton, sewing her freshman year dance dress and being escorted by her dad to her first school dance. She was an excellent swimmer practicing at the University of Portland campus for her swim team and also started diving at an early age. Angela enjoyed going on her father's boat and the many happy time with family on camping outings. She was in Bluebirds and Campfire girls, one year she sold enough candy to pay for camp. She was fond of both babies and the elderly, being the most requested babysitter and helping the neighborhood elders with errands.

Angela was a loving, loyal, fearless, fragile, sensitive and grateful person and appreciates all prayers offered on her behalf.
