Fletcher J. Rash was born Feb. 24, 1891, south of Union, son of Arthur and Eva Rash. Educated in Union schools, he came to Waterloo 27 years ago to become an employee of the Galloway company and later of the Standard Battery & Electric Co.
Following a divorce from his first wife, Lottie (now Mrs. JD Cohn), Rash on Dec. 9, 1933, was married at Waverly, Ia., to Mrs. Mabel Dolan, who survives.
Also surviving are the mother; two stepsons, Leland Dolan, an instructor at Oelwein, Ia., high school, and John Dolan of Grimes Ia.; and three brothers, Leonard and Clement Rash, both of Union, and Errol, of Le Roy, Minn. One sister, Mrs. Viola Smith and the father preceded him in death.
In Waterloo, Mr. Rash was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian church.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Saturday in Union church, Rev. Harry J. Moore, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian church here, officiating. Burial will be at Union.
The body was taken to the Biersborn funeral home in Union.

The marriage of Mrs. Mabel Finley of Mason City and Mr. Fletcher J. Rash of Waterloo look place at 4 p.m. December 9 at Waverly, the Rev. George Temple officiating. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Neil Nutting. Mrs. Rash is well known here where she made her home several years. Their present home is at Waterloo where Mr. Rash is a representative of the Standard Battery and Electric Company.
