Obituary - FARMINGTON - Jetta Flint Richards, 68, was born Feb. 8, 1934 in Ogden, Utah to Bruce Milo and Helen Sessions Flint. She returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 5, 2002.
She grew to womanhood in Syracuse, Utah. Jetta married Aaron Franklin Richards Sept. 18, 1953 in the Salt Lake Temple. During their married life, they were residents of Farmington, Utah.
She and Aaron were blessed with five children, Eileen (Wayne) DeLeeuw, Tooele; Calvin (Cheryl) Richards, Kaysville; Kathleen (Dennis) Burt, Bear River; Flint (Sandy) Richards, Erda; Gloria Ann Richards who preceded her in death in 1981, and 26 grandchildren. Jetta is also survived by her sisters, Shirley (Dick) Thompson, Farmington; and Erma (Ed) Williams, Amarillo, TX; and brother, Keith (Mary Jo) Flint, Springcreek, NV. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth and Michael, and her parents.
Jetta was active in the LDS Church and in her community, especially enjoying her "TOPS" friends. Her family was the light of her life. Jetta loved being a "missionary grandma" and the family requests donations to an LDS Church missionary fund in lieu of flowers.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 9, 2002 at 11 a.m. at the Steed Creek LDS Chapel, 347 So.
200 W. Farmington. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Farmington City Cemetery.
