Born in Birdsboro,he was a son of the late Eugene and Dorothy (Kline)Buchanan. Buchanan was employed for 31 years as a truck driver by Brenntag Inc., Leesport, last working Jan.8. He was a life member of Cushion Peak Rod & Gun Club,South HeidelbergTownship. Buchanan,who was the fiance of Dolores J.Texter,Reinholds,Lancaster County,is survived by two daughters:Melanie F.Buchanan at home,and Denise A.(Buchanan)Yohn,Reinholds. Also surviving are a sister,Dolores J.(Buchanan)Coller,Reamstown,Lancaster County;three grandchildren;and one step-grandson. Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Dengler Funeral Home Inc.,Birdsboro. Burial will be in the Birdsboro Cemetery,Union Township.
