Mrs. Margaret H. Reese, formerly of 437 W. Broad St., died at 5:15 a.m. Friday at the Masonic Home, Elizabethtown, where she had been a guest several years. Born in Pittsburgh, April 20, 1882, a daughter of the late Harry and Margaret Hood, she had resided in this city most of her life. While in Hazleton, she was a member of Zion Evangelical Congregational Church. She was a member and past matron of Mayflower Chapter 107, O.E.S.; member and past high priestess of Hazleton White Shrine No. 4; and past president of the Ladies Auxilary of Mount Vernon Commandery. Her husband, Amos P. Reese, died Oct. 30, 1942. Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Joseph (Marjorie) Call, Wynnewood; and Mrs. E.A. (Lila) Hulit, Lambertsville, N.J.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Krapf and Hughes Funeral Home, with the Rev. Benjamin Hess, pastor of Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Vine Street Cemetery.
