Oneal Jenkins, age 90 of the Meadow Branch community of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Friday, October 17, 2008 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Charles Grover and Zelia Whiteside Jenkins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Faset Jenkins in November of 2005 and her sons, Larry Jenkins and Gary Jenkins. She is survived by her sons, R.D. Jenkins of Woodstock, GA, David B. Jenkins of Maryville, TN; daughters, Violet Williams, and Leona Beasley both of Robbinsville. She has 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverends Onley Williams, Scott Jenkins; her son, David Jenkins, grandson, Chad Beasley, and granddaughter Deb Jenkins will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Chapel prior to the service. Committal Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, October 20, 2008 at Yellow Branch Cemetery. Townson-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
