Well Known Youth Was Ill For Only
One Week

Charles Benjamin Connelly, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Connelly, 610 South Broadway, died at 9:30
o'clock Thursday night at St. Mary's hospital. He was twenty-three years old. His death was caused by pneumonia, after an illness of only one week.
Mr. Connelly was born in Decatur March 1, 1899. He had lived in the southeast part of the city all his life and was well known. He was a member of St. James' Catholic
church, had attended St. James school and was a member of the Mens society of the church and also of Decatur council No. 577, Knights of Columbus. He was always bright
and cheerful and was popular with a wide circle of friends. He was employed at the Mueller factory and was held In high esteem by his fellow employes and all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents and the following brothers and sisters: Louis, Clarence, Helen, Dorothy and
Caroline Connelly.
The body was removed to the Moran & Sons undertaking establishment and prepared for burial.

The funeral of Charles B. Connelly, will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning at St. James' Catholic
church. The Interment will be In Calvary cemetery.
