MRS. WILLIAMSON SUCCUMBS TODAY
Mrs. Appie Williamson, 86, long time resident of Morehouse Parish died early today at Morehouse General Hospital after a long illness. She was the widow of the late John Williamson and the couple operated a restaurant on West Pine Street for a number of years.
A native of Mississippi, she had live in Morehouse Parish for the past 40 yerars.
Miss Appie is survived by two sons:
Arlie Williamson of Bastrop
Talmadge Eugene Williamson of Bastrop
Three daughters:
Mrs. Clara Freeman of Bastrop
Mrs. Edna Bounds of Bastrop
Mrs. Clydie Byargeon of Vidalia
Two brothers:
Everett Adcock of Ellisville, Mississippi
Moody Adcock of Rayville, Louisiana
One sister:
Mrs. Alice Caston of Rayville, Louisiana
19 grandchildren
32 great-grandchildren
Funeral services have been set for 4 pm Saturday in First Church of God with the Rev. Doyle Coody, the Rev. Arthur Nelson and Rev. Ray P. Rust officiating. Interment will be in Christ Church Cemetery.
Grandson will serve as pallbearers.
