Thursday morning, were held Saturday afternoon at the Methodist Church, in charge of Rev. W. H. Jackson. Mrs. Jones, who had been confined in a local hospital suffering from pneumonia, was stricken with the heart attack just as she was recovering from the siege of pneumonia.
Born as Cora Ellen Rounds, in Brunswick, Missouri, September 1, 1897, she lived there during her early years. In 1912 she was married Orville Jones in Lebanon Missouri. The family lived in that state until 1919, when they moved to Tekamah.
They came to Blair two years ago, and have resided on east State Street.
Surviving are the husband and two children, Franklin, Mrs. Roy Moore, Dorothy, Billy, Elsie, David, Lendora, Lanora, James and Nellie Rose, all of Blair; her mother, Mrs. Alex Shuey of Clearbrook, Minnesota; four brothers, Hiram Shuey of Blair, Austin Shuey of Fort Calhoun, Fay Rounds of Clearbrook, and Laverne Shuey of Clearbrook; and four sisters, Mrs. Oadie Monroe of Clearbrook, Mrs. Nell Pederson of Blair, Mrs. Rose Snow of Craig, and Mrs. Myrtle Pearson of Tekamah.
Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery.
