Obituary:
John A. Manners
Funeral services will be held in Punxsutawney Sunday for John A. Manners, 88, of Punxsutawney R. D. 2, who died Thursday in the Adrian Hospital.
A retired railroader, he was a lifelong resident of this area.
He was born October 21, 1880, in Sprankle Mills, a son of Joseph and Elizabeth Wyant Manners and was married to Arminita Himes. He waa a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Carmen.
Surviving are three daughters and three sons, Mrs. C. M. Wagner, of Cleveland, O.; Mrs. William Mauer, of Punxsutawney R. D. 4; Mrs. Charles Brunner, of Youngstown, O; Clair, Earl and Harry Manners, of Punx`y R. D. 2.
Friends will be received in the Jordan-Fait Funeral Home today and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 o`clock and Sunday until time for services at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Harvey Williams will officiate and interment will be in the Zion Cemetery.
