Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Pikey was held Friday, March 28, at 2 o'clock in the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.T. Wade and the Rev. W.K. Roach of Marston, Mo., officiating. Interment was made in Dry Bayou Cemetery.
Mrs. Pikey, daughter of the late Jim and Mary Brown, was born in Hickman, Ky., July 22, 1913, and died in her home near Marston, Mo., on March 27, 1963, at the age of 49 years, eight months and five days. She attended school in Kentucky.
She was married in her home in Hickman on April 18, 1928, to William McKinley Lankford. He died in August, 1950. The family moved from Kentucky to Portageville, Mo., and for the past eight years, she has made her home near Marston. On July 10, 1954, at Waterloo, Ill., she was married to Fred F. Pikey.
She is survived by her husband, Fred F. Pikey, Marston, Mo.; a son, William Lankford, Neeleyville, Mo.; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Fite, Neeleyville, Mo.; a brother, Lee Brown, Hickman, Ky., and a sister, Mrs. Daisy Potter, Little Rock, Ark. She also leaves six grandchildren.
