Jennie, 87, died Saturday July 21, 1990, at Harms Memorial Hospital following an apparent heart attack.
She was born December 6, 1902, in Spanish Fork, Utah to James and Nellie Wilson Warner. She was raised and educated in Spanish Fork. Following her school years, she worked for a time in local households.
On May 12, 1920, she married Lorenzo Leyshon in Provo, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized October 16, 1959, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
The couple made their home in Spanish Fork until 1924, when they moved to Aberdeen and purchased a farm. Lorenzo died October 14, 1954.
Jennie sold the farm in 1970 and moved to American Falls.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and active in its Primary program, a member of Relief Society and a visiting teacher. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, American Associated of Retired Persons and American Falls Senior Citzens. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and dancing.
Survivors include a son, Jay Leyshon, Idaho Falls; four daughters, Mildred (Max) Curtis and LaRue (Clyce) Schumacher, both of Aberdeen; Yuvonne (Bill) Edmonds, American Falls, Della Mae (Robert) Taillet, Los Vegas, Nevada; two brothers, Glenn Warner, Payette, and Lorin Warner, Sterling; a sister, Reva Nelson, Salmon; thirteen grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was proceeded in death by a son and one grandson.
