Tabitha was the daughter of James and Mary Frances (Mays) Whitten. She married Henry Andres Linville in 1879 in West Virginia.

Cause of Death: Thrombosis of left thigh, with gangrene; due to Poor Circulation & Failing Heart

Tabitha Linville
Tabitha Linville, 63, widow of Henry Linville of Alkol, died yesterday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. W. M. Clark of Alkol.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Left Fork church at Bulger with Rev. Ebb Cummings and Rev. Fred Black officiating. Burial will be in the family cemetery will the Hunter and Hunter mortuary at Madison in charge.
Surviving are five sons, Hansford and Sherman of Alkol; Freeman of Woodfield, Roy of Cameo and Hayes of Huntington; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Cremeans of Hamlin, Mrs. Allie Dotson and Mrs. Martha Clark of Alkol, Mrs. Shellie Burton of Sod; two brothers, a sister, 50 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
