Mrs. Catherine Landre
A funeral service for Mrs. Catherine Meyers Landre of Port Jefferson, a former resident of Maspeth, was conducted Monday afternoon by the Rev. Howard A. Northacker, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Newtown. Mrs. Landre died at her home.
The service was held in the funeral chapel of Reinhold A. Skelton, 47 Broadway, Elmhurst.
Mrs. Landre was seventy-four. She was well known in Maspeth, where she had lived for many years before going to Port Jefferson.
She leaves three sons, Jacob S., Louis B., and Benjamin Meyers, and three sisters** (**should read daughters) , Mrs. Anna Byrnes, Mrs. Adelaide Bennett and Mrs. Georgia Korte.
Interment was in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
