Mrs. John Clark, a resident of Washburn, Wisconsin since
early pioneer days, died Monday morning, February 25, at
8:25 o'clock at her home on West Third Street here. She
had been ill since suffering a paralytic stroke last April,
but as a bed patient for only two weeks prior to her death.
Funeral services were held at the Bratley Funeral parlor
here this afternoon, Thursday, with Rev. E.B. Swenson
officiating. Burial was in the cemetery at Bayfield.
The deceased is survived by her husband and one son, Charles.
Mrs. Clark was about seventy-five years of age at the time
of her death. She had been a resident of Washburn for
