Betty Jane Adcock

Ms. Betty Jane Adcock, age 73 passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
She is a native of Bedford County and a member of Lone Oak Church of Christ. Ms. Adcock retired from Jostens after twenty five years of service.
She is the daughter of the late James Freeman and Adele Raby Freeman. Ms. Adcock was married to Layton Adcock who preceded her in death in 1997.
She is survived by her children: Jan (David) Williams of Shelbyville, Ginger (Mike) Smith of Shelbyville and Tina Adcock also of Shelbyville. She is also survived by two sisters: Laverne Adcock of Shelbyville and Judy Bonner of Petersburg, Tennessee. She is survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Ms. Adcock was preceded in death by one son: David Adcock in 1980.
Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, May 23, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gowen-Smith Chapel. Funeral services will be on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Gowen-Smith with Bro. Jeff Smith and Bro. Ray King officiating.
Burial will follow at Richmond Cemetery in Petersburg, Tennessee.
