Floyd A. Lee Dies At Ottawa, Kans.
Eakly, Jan. 25--Services for Floyd Alva Lee, 72, a former early day resident of this community were Thursday of the past week in Ottawa, Kansas. Lee, who lived on a farm two miles from Ottawa, died suddenly at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Russell Leach, where he was visiting for the day and gone to the field with his grandson.
Born Aug. 11, 1882 in Franklin county, Mo., Lee came as a young boy with his parents to the Eakly community at the opening of the Caddo country.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Ethel Grigg Lee, at the home he is survived by two sons and five daughters.
Also surviving is his sister, Mrs. Amandy Lee, Eakly; and five brothers, Clark Lee, Fort Madison, Iowa; Lawrence and Orville Lee, Clinton; and Cecil and Emerson Lee, Eakly.
Mrs. Taylor and Cecil and Emerson Lee of this place and Mr. and Mrs. Orville Lee of Clinton attended the services in Kansas.
