Simon was a very easy going sweet cat. He was diagnosed with diabetes 6 years ago. He would come and sit by the kitchen counter twice a day when it was time for his shot and wait for one of us to give it to him. If we didn't get in there on time, he would come and get us. Being diabetic took it's toll on him. Last year his kidneys started failing and his thyroid also was giving out. He took meds for those too. It finally just got to be to much for his little body to handle. So we let him go to Kitty Heaven. Although it breaks our hearts. He is no longer suffering. We loved him so much.
