WELL KNOWN MAN CALLELD
S. E. Grantland, widely known resident of the Somerville, Route 3 community, died at his home at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon and funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Antioch church by Rev Aldridge. Drinkard was in charge of burial.
Mr Grantland is survived by his widow; four sons, R. M. Grantland, of Trinity; Ed Grantland, Somerville, Route 3; T. R. Grantland, Tarrant City, and Chester Grantland, of Bruce, Mississippi; four daughters, Mrs J. T. Williams, Somerville, Route 3; Mrs John Moody, Hanceville; Mrs Roy Plemmons, Decatur, Route 2 and Mrs Novie Plemmons, Somerville, Route 3.
