George N. Wilson, Merchant, Dies
George N. Wilson, president of the United States Coffee and Tea Company, died Sunday night at a Dallas hospital. He had been a resident of the city for more than forty years and had been head of the coffee concern since he organized it in 1907 with Henry Seeligson. He lived at 2600 Maple avenue.
Previous to 1907, Mr. Wilson had been the Texas representative of the New York Coffee Company and before that he was connected with the American Tobacco Company. He was a member of the Dallas Athletic Club and the Scottish Right bodies.
Surviving are a son, George N. Wilson, Jr of Dallas, four daughters Misses Helen Wilson, Virginia Wilson and Martha Wilson, all of Lexington Ky. and Mrs. Scurry Terrell of El Paso, a sister Mrs. W. P. Averitt of Lexington and a brother James H. Wilson of Danville, VA.
