Joseph S is reported to have died 7/15/1884 near Mt. Ellsworth, Garfield, UT...near (Ticaboo) or Ft. Lewis CO or Ft. Duchesne, Duschesne, UT. He was said to have killed by Utes. If so, Ft. Duchesne is near the Ute Reservation. I cannot find his burial place.
