Milton was born in 1904 in the town of Richmond, Utah to Samuel and Flora Cotterell. He was married twice, his first marriage was in 1924 to Eva England, they were married for six years and had 3 children; Eunice, Milton Jr., and Elmer. in 1930 they divorced. He married again in 1948 to Hazel Bateman and they lived their life in Blackfoot, Idaho.
Milton is survived by his wife, Hazel; sons Milton and Elmer, and daughter Eunice. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Burial will be at Grove City Cemetery in Blackfoot.
