Illness Fatal to Brookes Mills Man
Jesse H. Delozier, 74, of Brookes Mills died at his home at 6.55 o'clock last evening after an extended illness. On Feb. 16, 1905, at Leamersville, he married Miss Martha Dickey, their golden wedding anniversary being celebrated in 1955.
He was born Jan. 13, 1883, at Brookes Mills, a son of Abram and Mary (Roudabush) Delozier, and retired in 1951 after 30 years of service with the Pennsylvania railroad. Mr. Delozier was a member of the Vicksburg Brethren church.
Surviving are his wife, three children, Russell of Hollidaysburg, R.D. 1, Mrs. Winifred Myers and Mrs. Louise Brubaker of Hollidaysburg; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A son, Wilmer, preceded him in death.
Friends will be received at the Creamer & Plank funeral home, Hollidaysburg, after 7 o'clock this evening.
