Louise Faux Boyack, 93, formerly of 120 East Center Street, Spanish Fork, Utah, peacefully passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2010 on Mother's Day in Sandy, Utah.

Louise was born April 15, 1917 in Moroni, Utah to Ferry Jabez and Florence Peterson Faux. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School and attended Snow College.

She married her eternal companion, Fred M. Boyack, on November 2, 1938 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was an amazing wife and mother, dedicating her life to the service of her family.

She loved to study and to read and was a life long learner. She worked as a teachers aide in the Nebo School District with troubled kids for eight years. Louise was a member of the Euphronian Club, "Friends Club", and was active in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed traveling and visited Russia, Norway, Hawaii, and many other interesting places.

Louise was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held positions in all the auxiliary organizations. She served as Stake Relief Society President, Stake Missionary, a full time mission to Oakland, California, and as a temple worker in the Provo Temple for over ten years. She was very service oriented and was loved by all.

She is survived by three children, Miriam "Mimi" Boyack (L. Philip) Johnston, Leawood, Kansas; Terrel Fred (Krystal Call) Boyack, Sandy, Utah; and Julene Winterton, Tucson, Arizona; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Ted Faux, and Lawrence Faux. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, her parents, a sister, Adela, and a brother, Neal Faux.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah, from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
Memorial Services will be held later in the day at 2:00 p.m. in the LDS Chapel located at 8961 South 1700 East in Sandy, Utah.
