Margaret Ellen Buck, 98, of Hultquist Place, formerly of Methodist Gardens, and 113 East Elmwood Ave., Falconer, passed away at 2:35 p.m. Thursday (March 25, 2010), in the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center.

She was the widow of Kenneth M. Buck, whom she married Feb. 21, 1946, in Warren, and who died March 2, 1978.

An area resident most of her life, she was born Oct. 9, 1911, in Bruin, Pa., the daughter of the late John N. and Nellie Slagle Buckley.

Margaret was a graduate of Karns City High School and Duffs Business College in Pittsburgh. During World War II she had been employed at Bellair Craft and Best Foods. Margaret was also employed in later years at Dairy Lee, Davis Drug Store and Carlson Pharmacy.

Margaret was a member of the Falconer United Methodist Church, Falcon-er Senior Citizens, and RSVP. She was a former member of the Elmwood United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Pamela (Stephen) Vanstrom of Jamestown: a son, John M. (Ginger) Buck of Dans-ville, N.Y.; a stepdaughter Delores Thompson of Lake-wood; nine grandchildren: Julie (Bradley) Widen, Erin (Jeremy) Sheldon, Sean (Jennie) Buck, Ryan Buck, Evan Buck, Andrea Ed-wards, Kim (Edward) Roberts, Thomas (Julie) Thompson, and Jill (Daniel) Fisher.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Ruth Buckley and Charlene Neal; and a brother, Eugene Buckley.
