Joseph Kubik of Southampton road, Westfield, formerly of West Springfield, died last night at Noble hospital following a short illness. He was born at West Springfield November 28, 1889, the son of Joseph and the late Annie (Yelinek) Kubik. He was a World War I veteran. Besides his father he leaves one sister, Mrs. Mary Compton of Springfield; three brothers, Louis at Camp Pickett, Va., Frank of Springfield, and William of West Springfield. The funeral will be held at the Curran-Jones funeral home, West Springfield, Wednesday morning at 8.15. There will be a requiem high mass at Immaculate Conception church at 9, and burial will be in St Thomas cemetery, West Springfield.
