Ora I. Evans, a resident of the settlement of Puget for many years, died Tuesday in a Puyallup Nursing home. Mr. Evans was born in Minnesota January 27, 1872, and came with his parents to a farm north of Olympia in 1889. His home was on Route Seven (Box 631). His wife, Jessie Larsen Evans, died here in 1932. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. John E. Lister, living in Puget. A reader from the Second Church of Christ Scientist, will officiate during a funeral service to be held in Mills and Mills Chapel this Thursday afternoon, starting at one o'clock. Burial will take place in Masonic Memorial Park.
