Leota McCall Simpson, 60, of Somerville, retired from Longtown BP Service Center and Restaurant after 19 years, died Wednesday at Methodist Healthcare-Fayette in Somersville. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home in Somerville with burial in Clopton Cemetery near Atoka. She attended Hickory Withe (Tenn.) Baptist Church. Mrs. Simpson, the widow of James Readis Simpson, leaves two daughters, Tammie Simpson Hightower of Somerville and Kelly Simpson of Stanton, Tenn.; two sons, Jimmy Simpson of Oakland, Tenn. and Doug Simpson of Somerville; two sisters, Imalee Gurley of Caruthersville, Mo. and Wanda McCall of St. Louis; four brothers, Milburn McCall, Dewayne McCall, Thomas McCall and Junior McCall, all of Caruthersville, and nine grandchildren.
