Leola Faye Jennings Armour, 85, of Lubbock passed away on May 6, 2010 in Slaton. Leola was born on Dec. 5, 1924 in Waupanucka, Okla. She married James Armour on Dec. 9, 1946 in Wellington, Kan. She moved to Lubbock in 1950.
She is survived by two children, Larry Armour and Nioka Taylor, both of Lubbock; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Armour; one sister; and eight brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2010 at Morton Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Jeff McCreight officiating. Visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Brandon Armour, Brad Armour, Clinton Lane, Cory Taylor, Lance Taylor and Rodney Taylor.
