Queen "Queenie" Elizabeth Hayes Anders, beloved wife of the late Vernon C. Anders, Jr. went home to be with the Lord April 20, 2010 at Baptist Easley Hospital at 63 years of age. Loving mother of Kevin Anders (Missi) and Jason Anders (Jacque); devoted grandmother of Logan and Erin Anders; sister of Mary Lee Shove, Wayne Hayes, Walker Hayes, Linda Schrader, Shirley Burgess, and Fulton Hayes.
Mrs. Anders was born in Pickens to the late Furman W. Hayes and Lillie Mae Crowe Hayes. She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and was a receptionist at The Blood Connection.
Funeral service 3 PM Thursday, April 22, 2010 in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home. Visitation prior to the service from 12:30 to 2:45 PM. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
