Marvin Clifford Fielder, age 61, of Farmers Branch, Texas, died February 2, 1998 at his residence. He was born May 16, 1935 in Whitesboro, Texas to Mac and Lula Shirey Fielder.
He married Gale Turner August 1, 1969 in Gainesville, Texas
Baptist by faith and a shipping supervisor for General Packaging Corp. for over 23 years.
Survived by his wife, Gale Turner Fielder, mother, Lula Mae Wood of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law Tony and Lana Johnson of Lewisville; daughter, Lee Ann McBride of Garland; 4 grandchildren; Jason and Brittany McBride, Aaron and Brandon Johnson, brother, Richard Fielder of Denton; two sisters, Jannette Hanson of Gainesville and Mae Ruth Blakey of Tom Bean.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. at Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville. Rev. David Nix, Minister of First Baptist Church of Sachse, Texas, officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville, Texas.
