Private graveside services were conducted in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, February 11 (1989), for George N. Wall, age 79, Pittsboro, who died February 8 in the Hendricks Community Hospital. Rev. David Kovalow-St. John officiated. David A. Hall Mortuary, Pittsboro, was in charge of arrangements.
Born Oct. 17, 1909 in Dover, he was a son of Newton A. and Evaline (Campbell) Wall. A graduate of Wabash College, Mr. Wall owned and operated the Wall Grain Company in Pittsboro from 1929 until 1975 when he retired. He was also on the Board of Directors of the State Bank of Lizton. On Oct. 1, 1938, he married Isabel Sumpter who survives.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by two sons, Joseph N. Wall of Indianapolis and Mark S. Wall of Madison, Wisconsin; a daughter, Rebecca Ann Karo of Medford, Massachusetts and one granddaughter, Alice Jane Karo.
