OBITUARY :
MRS. MABEL V. RECHER, 70, of Rt. 2, died Monday at the Avalon Manor Nursing Home.

Born in Capon Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of Harry and Annie Orndorff Wagner.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Hagerstown, and Eugenia Harmon Sunday School Class and the Queen Esther Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Bridgeport Homemakers' Club.

She was the widow of Earl J. Recher.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Frances Recher of Bethesda; two sons, Richard L. Recher of Washington, D.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Koser of Cumberland and Mrs. Edna Smith of Waynesboro; one brother, William Wagner of Waynesboro, and two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church Thursday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Robert E. Mohr and the Rev. Wilson P. Ard, D.D., will officiate. Burial will be in Wolfsville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Minnich Funeral Home at 415 E. Wilson Blvd. Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

The family request the omission of flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ravenwood Lutheran Home, c/o Trinity Lutheran Church.
