Marjorie Evans Rockefeller, 99, died May 9, 2001. She was a graduate of Candor High School and attended Normal School to become a teacher. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Manton; son, Norman; sisters, Marguerite and Margueretha. She is survived by a son; Dale Rockefeller; a daughter-in-law, Gertrude Williams Rockefeller; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held today, (Saturday), May 12, 2001 at 2:30 p.m. at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. A period of visitation will be on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of the service.
