Francisco Aguirre, 69, died in Collingsworth General Hospital Friday on October 15, 1976 after a lengthy illness. He had been a resident of Thomas Nursing Center a number of months.

Mr. Aguirre had lived in Wellington 20 years and was employed with several farmers of the area during that time.

He was born December 3, 1906 in Smithville. Mr. Aguirre was a member of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church.

Rosary services were conducted at Our Mother of Mercy Church Sunday at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services were at the church Monday, at 2:00 p.m. with Father J. Arnold Carlson of Groom, officiating. Burial was in Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kelso Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Alfred Saldana, Sr., Alfred Saldana, Jr., Ed Aguilar, Joe Peters, Jimmy Cantu and Trinidad Cantu.

Surviving Mr. Aguirre are his widow Mrs. Juanita Aguilar; four daughters, Mrs. Carmen Falcon of Garland, Mrs. Lourdes Gonzales of Shamrock, Miss Mary Aguirre of Wellington and Miss Gertrude Aguirre of Fort Worth; Joe Aguirre and Gabriel Aguirre of Childress; Ramon Aguirre of Miami; Uriel Aguirre and Frank Aguirre, Jr., of Wellington; his mother, Mrs. Delfina Aguirre of Lockhart; a brother, Miguel Aguirre of Lockhart and 13 grandchildren.
