James H. Allshouse, 76, of Clymer RD 1, died Friday, Feb 5, 1982, at his home. A son of Christopher and Mary Naylor Allshouse, he was born June 4, 1905, in Johnstown.
Surviving are his wife, Martha Boring Allshouse: these children: Mrs. Eugene (Betty) Lichenfell, Medina, N.Y.; Mrs George (Margaret) Orndoff, Mrs. Blanford (Shirley) Fetterman and Mrs. Larry (Judy) Hill, all of Waynesburg, Mrs. Charles (Barbara) Hughes and Jimmie Joe, both of Monaca: Mrs. Nick (Patricia) Lackovich, Aliquippa: Mrs. Martin (Eleanor) Swogger, Norfolk, Va: Mrs. Daniel (Dorothy) Hopkins, Clymer: and Christopher, Bucyrus, Ohio.
Also surviving are 36 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: William and Willard, both of Bolivar; Mrs. Nancy Ayers, Potter County: Mrs. Lila Beck, Kansas: Mrs. Katherine Felton, Monroeville: Mrs. Dorothy Chalfa, Aliquippa: and Mrs. Doris James, Johnstown.
He was preceded in death by his parents: a son, Herman: and two brothers.
Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. today (Saturday) and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Long Funeral Home, Inc., Barnesboro, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, The Rev. Milton Nichols will officiate and interment will be in the McDowell Cemetery.
