Aunt Corie gave me this picture. It was written on the back of the picture with his name, birth and death date. When asking Aunt Corie about him, she replied it was sent to her from Lucy. The child had died of diphtheria. I can not find him in death certificates. Since Lucy and May lived in this vicinity I am going to put both babies here. I have never been to Mott Cemetery and Cemetery records do not show either baby.
I am not sure where Aunt Corie was at the time. They were in Texas and after the tragic death of her own child they left for a beet farm in Colorado. Her sister Daisy was there. Aunt Corie's reply to this statement, "We didn't stay there very long. It was no kind of living, no sir ree. No kind of living at all." 1920 census I can not find them. I have looked at the reel census several times.
Aunt Corie was called the walking encyclopedia. At her age what she remembered was a Godsend. I sure which I had her memory.
