CLARA M. SCHEUMANN
Mrs. Clara M. Scheumann, 65, of 10841 English St., Hoagland, wife of Emil Scheumann, died at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in her home following an illness of six months.
She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church at Bingen, the Ladies Guild, and the Hoagland Volunteer Firemen Auxiliary
Born in Preble Township on Jan. 5, 1911, she was the daughter of Ernst and Mary Wefel-Buuck, and was united in marriage on Aug. 15, 1936 to Emil Scheumann, who survives.
Also surviving are six children: Richard E. Scheumann of Hoagland; Roger A. Scheumann of Fort Wayne; Mrs. Joseph (Elaine) King of Fort Wayne; Mrs. James (Eva Lou) Fuhrman, Hoagland; Mrs. Dennis (Eleda) Koeneman, route 2, Monroeville; Ray D. Scheumann, Hoagland; four brothers, Henry E. Buuck, Pomona, Calif; Paul Buuck, Evansville; Fred C. Buuck, New Haven; Robert Buuck, Hoagland, and 14 grandchildren. Two sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church at Bingen, with Rev. O. A. Brillinger officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Zwick funeral home after 7 p.m. today and until 9 p.m. Saturday, and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. until time of the services at church.
Preferred memorials are to the church building fund.
